September 8th, 2009 - Apologies for not updating in so long. But today, I wrote my refutation of the first chapter in the next section, Chapter 26 - What does it all mean?
June 25th, 2009 - My refutation of Chapter 25 - Reviewing the evidence about Jesus is up. The reviewing ones are always tedious, because they're so long and repeat themselves so much.
June 20th, 2009 - A response to the short and not-so-sweet Chapter 24 - Why does Jesus need your money? is now up.
June 11th, 2009 - To a J.T. from Texas who bought me Out of Solitude by Henri J.M. Nouwen: thank you from the bottom of my heart. You do not know how much you have just blessed me when I received that book today in the mail. Thank you again, and blessings.
May 31st, 2009 - Not sure why I haven't updated in a while. I guess I've had a busy last month. I edited Part II of why prayers aren't answered with an additional Biblical support verse, which I can't believe I didn't think of when I wrote it. The video is coming along quite nicely, and it should be up soon.
April 26th, 2009 - Furthering my effort in cleaning up previous articles, I added some information and reduced the sarcasm in Proof 2: Statistically analyze prayer. I have also begun work on a new video, which will be a YouTube adaptation of my Brain's Big Blunder article.
April 10th, 2009 - I cleaned up an article (Proof 10: Look at historical gods) that was a little over the top with sarcasm and made it more down to earth. This is a process that I plan to continue for many of the proofs.
April 9th, 2009 - I have created a store where you can buy apologetics-related merchandise. As of now, the primary focus is bumper stickers. If you have any ideas about slogans to put on the stickers, send me an email or leave a comment.
April 1st, 2009 - Here's a short blog entry from one of my other blogs: A Racism Dilemma for Atheists. It raises an interesting dilemma for atheists who believe that people are more religious because they are less intelligent.
March 30th, 2009 - Not much for updates as far as Brain Is Ignorant goes. But just to let you know, I have created a Twitter account, jumping on the bandwagon. The concept is growing on me. Follow it if you're interested in my non-apologetics business.
March 14th, 2009 - I added an entry giving several reasons to donate to the ministry. I also added several links to the Links section.
March 13th, 2009 - I responded to Chapter 23 - Was Jesus' coming Prophesized?. Yeah, he actually spelled "prophesied" that way.
March 9th, 2009 - My response to Chapter 22 is up. Unsurprisingly, it is a topic completely irrelevant to whether Jesus is the son of God or not (despite it being in the category of "Jesus") - children in poverty.
March 7th, 2009 - A double feature today: my response to Chapter 20 - Why doesn't Jesus appear to each of us? and Chapter 21 - Why do we eat Jesus? are up. If all goes as planned, there should be several updates this upcoming week. Stay tuned.
February 8th, 2009 - Happy New Year...Very belated. School has been busy this semester. Today, I wrote the second part in my series on why prayers aren't answered; this time, it's about how God's will fits into the equation. Read it here.
I also added a new poll on the main page.
December 22nd, 2008 - Merry Christmas, everyone! I hope everyone has a wonderful holiday.
I recently noticed that someone made a Wikipedia article about me that will probably be deleted any second now. For the record, it wasn't me, but I'm frankly rather flattered that someone thought I was notable enough.
November 29th, 2008 - "Chapter 19 - Why didn't Jesus move a mountain?" is now up.
November 28th, 2008 - I apologize for my inactivity over the last month and some. College has been really busy for me, more than it's ever been. I hope everyone's had a great Thanksgiving.
Today I added a place where you can give, via PayPal, to Brain Is Ignorant. If you appreciate the work I've put into this blog over the past few years, please consider a donation.
October 16th, 2008 - I uploaded a new video response on YouTube. This time, it's in response to Marshall Brain's brand new video, "Why does every intelligent Christian disobey Jesus?" My response is located here.
September 6th, 2008 - We've finally come to the conclusion of the part about the Bible, as I have refuted Chapter 17. I don't really know if I'm happy or sad about that. It was tiresome and ridiculous, but I prefer to argue about the Bible than postulate with him on philosophy. But I'm in luck! Next section is about Jesus and the evidence for his divinity (my "specialty"), and I also briefly responded to his very brief introductory chapter.
August 18th, 2008 - My response to Chapter 16 - Why does God massacre millions of children? is up. I will also be going back and editing posts, adjusting some format and Blogger issues to make them more readable.
August 15th, 2008 - Chapter 15, the infamous chapter about sexism, has been run into the ground.
July 31st, 2008 - Chapter 14 has been defeated. Don't expect much from me for a while. College is starting up again relatively soon, and I'm off to camp tomorrow, so my schedule is full.
July 28th, 2008 - Chapter 13 - Why does God love slavery? has been soundly refuted.
July 2nd, 2008 - Sorry to all for my inactivity. Don't expect too much over the next week or so either, since I'll be out of town. However, Chapter 11 is now up, and I'm finally finished (for a time anyway) with his prayer diatribes. And today is a double feature! Chapter 12 - Who wrote the Bible? is also up.
Lastly, I am beginning a series of essays on why prayers aren't answered, which will feature scriptural factors, and defenses of the Free Will argument, the Hidden Nature argument, and the God's Will argument. The first one is posted here.
May 24th, 2008 - Chapter 10 is now up. A milestone!
May 13th 2008 - It's a double feature today: Chapters 8 and 9 are now up. Currently working on a video response to "Proving The Bible Is Repulsive," one of Marshall Brain's popular YouTube videos.
May 5th, 2008 - My rebuttal to Chapter 7 - Why can't you move mountains? has been posted, which brings the post total of Brain Is Ignorant up to 100. Good news, by the way: I'm done with finals and college, at least until August. Lots of work should be done by the time I go back...Hopefully, the entire response to WWGHA. At least, that's my goal.
April 28th, 2008 - Another ridiculously long response to Chapter 6 is up. This is already getting tiresome, and I have thirty more to go.
April 15th, 2008 - The ridiculously long response to Chapter 5, the title piece of the website, is now up. Geez, that took so long!
April 3rd, 2008 - Chapter 4 - Facing the paradox is up.
April 1st, 2008 - Chapter 3 is up, ironically on April Fools' Day.
June 25th, 2009 - My refutation of Chapter 25 - Reviewing the evidence about Jesus is up. The reviewing ones are always tedious, because they're so long and repeat themselves so much.
June 20th, 2009 - A response to the short and not-so-sweet Chapter 24 - Why does Jesus need your money? is now up.

March 28th, 2008 - Chapter 2 is up.
March 27th, 2008 - I have begun my series refuting Why Won't God Heal Amputees, one step at a time. This is a link to my rebuttal to the introduction, as well as Chapter 1.
March 26th, 2008 - Updated the side bar slightly by adding more videos, adding a new poll, and changing the Links list. Currently pondering where I should start regarding WWGHA.
March 16th, 2008 - I have created a new blog called "Lucerna Dei," which is latin for "Lamp of God." It's going to be my own Bible study. Check it out here.
March 14th, 2008 - I completed and uploaded an essay called "Brain's Big Blunder: Why the Question 'Why Won't God Heal Amputees' Proves Theism." It's located here. This is part of my upcoming series that goes into the arguments of Why Wont God Heal Amputees? since I have finished my God is Imaginary series.
March 2nd, 2008 - I'm adding a navigation menu at the top corner. This will hopefully make it easier to get around the blog. I'm planning some big changes, with a possible move to a website in the future, and for now I want to integrate that into the design of the blog as much as I can.
Because I made it so that the Table of Contents was actually a blog entry, and I made that the first thing people see, updates to the blog aren't visible unless you scroll down. So I added this to hopefully make it easier. Every time a new essay, video, rebuttal, or other update is uploaded, the link will be here. So check back here regularly.
Today, I made an Executive Summary of the blog. This will also be in the Navigation Menu.
February 25th, 2008 - I updated the response to Proof One with an additional argument.

I created the Wikipedia article! Unfortuanately though, it was deleted today. But seriously, I'm not lying - I did create it. I'm not just boasting about it, in case that's what you think.
Is the book any good? Out of Solitude...
I really enjoyed your WWGHA and 10 Questions rebuttals! How refreshing to see someone such as yourself able to defend our faith. I hope my son will be able (and willing) to do the same.
I have had biblelogic.org for many years but never done anything with it. Any suggestions?
Have a blessed day!

The book is great, Jason. Thanks again!
Basically, it is a series of lectures that Henri Nouwen delivered at Yale University about how we should devote some of our spiritual life to spending time in solitude with God, and how our love and service must flow from our relationship with him. It was recommended to me by the dean of student activities at my university, who said it changed his life, so I wanted to read it for myself. Once again, I am so appreciative that you would think to gift it to me. :-)
I'm glad you enjoyed the responses. I encourage your son to not shy away from this, though make sure he is spiritually ready for the challenges that come with it.
For starters, regarding Bible Logic, you should find yourself an HTML template somewhere and start making a site. I would recommend picking one topic in particular within the field of Christian thought to focus on, such as the evidence for the reliability of the Bible (Bible logic, after all), rather than trying to be a "jack-of-all-trades" type of website, since that is usually a recipe for frustration.
Good luck, and thanks.
